's letter Yong

opened with this post, a new section on extracts from the books I've read, not necessarily presented and discussed here.

begin, however, by one who is present here and which are particularly close, for various reasons, one of which is the beauty and intimacy of parole usate, dalla scrittrice, perchè capaci di dar voce ai sentimenti più profondi che ognuno di noi ha dentro di sé.

Notate quanta delicatezza regna in queste parole:

"Spring Snow,

sudden and enchanting as a flurry of flower petals,
time is a bird that repeats your name throughout the day.
Here it is cold, but in the silence I hear your laugh that warms me.

I can not tell you anything, nor where or what to do ...

So I write to you and fades away ...
My letter is a shell whispers your name with the voice of the sea:
Stephanie. Spring Snow. Stephanie, who sings the tide.
All men should measure their lives by something greater than themselves:
some measure with the passing years, as if they were looking to approach the moment of their dissolution. Other
erect monuments that commemorate their actions and those of other men. But

I measure my life thanks to your presence,
that the absence can not escape.

know that you exist is a grace incessant
bright as a new dawn.

And I'm happy for eternity " (p. 223).

These are the words which are more cherished because they are linked to a person who is was and is very dear to me ...

the next.
